SPICE MIXES

Our spice mixes are made from organic spices, roasted in small batches and hand ground. Each packet includes enough spice mix for one or two meals and a selection of recipes to get you started. We also offer a Chai mix.

Chai — A delicious spicy blend to flavour black or green tea or to enjoy on its own. Contains green cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, fennel, cloves and black peppercorns.

Jamacia — The traditional Jamaican mix of spices for chicken curry, including coriander, cumin, fenugreek, turmeric, fennel, black peppercorns, cinnamon, allspice, chilli, ginger and cloves. As well as chicken curry, recipes are included for Jamaican grill and roasted vegetables.

Marrakech — A mix of flavours traditional to Northern Africa. Contains coriander, cumin, ginger, turmeric, chilli, cinnamon, cloves, black peppercorns and peppermint. Recipes included for spiced baked chicken, Moroccan salmon and baked vegetables.

Sri Lanka — A classic ceylon curry powder, dark roasted to give that special aroma. Contains coriander, cumin, fennel, cardamom, cinnamon, chilli, cloves. Recipes included for fish curry with tomato and chicken curry.

Zanzibar — A sweet and earthy mild blend, containing coriander, black mustard, cumin, paprika, brown sugar, fenugreek, turmeric and chilli. Recipes included for chickpea and vegetable curry, chicken curry and prawn or fish curry. Can also be used as a rub before barbecuing or grilling meat or fish.

Clove buds are stimulating, warming and aid digestion Peppermint leaf enlivens the body and soothes digestion
Coriander seeds are stimulating and digestive Turmeric is anti-inflammatory and antioxidant
